8 Year Old Has A Stomach Ache Below Belly Button, Burning Sensation. What Can It Be ?

My 8 year old son has a stomacke in the area below his belly button , he has a burning sensation and discomfort when he urinates. no fever a little nausea. It came on last night after dinner and he moaned through the night as he was uncomfortable. Any thoughts on what it can be and what I can do to relieve his discomfort. We are on holiday and no Doctor on hand

Thank you for the question.
It may be urinary tract infection. You must get urine examination for pus cells, casts and biochemical analysis. Also sometimes there is stone formation in the urinary bladder which can be diagnosed on ultrasonography of lower abdomen for kidney ureter and bladder.
Meanwhile give him plenty of water orally and take him to a doctor in ER . He may need to be given anti-spasmodics. antibiotics after earliest tests.
