9 Year Old Having Pain In The Chest After Being Hit. Need To Get Checked?
My son (9yrs old) was playing Basketbal with a friend and teh other persons shoulder hit him in the center chest area. This happend last week on Wed/Thur. He complains about it being tender to the touch and hurting sometimes. Not a lot though. Just at random times in the evening. Breathing appears normal, activity normal.

It appears that your son incurred a blunt injury on the center of the chest.Since he has no breathing issue ,no redness or swelling you can relax.
Give him analgesic to control the pain.If he continues to have pain then get him examined by his doctor .
