A dr. Tried to put a picc line into my 6 month old granddaughter. He said it would take an hour. Over 4 hours later he said he could not do it, right away we noticed her right eyelid was drooped over her eye, she could not stuck her tongue out and her smile was slightly crooked. They eventually put an IV in her wrist. I noticed after he tried to put in the picc line, her whole face was was swollen. Is this a side effect or something else. She looked just fine before he attempted to insert the picc line.
