A little over a year ago I was hospitalized after blood work showed my hemoglobin to be 4. It turns out I had bleeding ulcers, which were treated and I have had my blood work done regularly since. The last time was only a few months ago. Today after having a typical bowel movement a good amount of fresh red blood was on the tissue when I wiped. I do have hemorrhoids but they are not acting up now and I was not constipated. If this blood is coming from bleeding ulcers would it be bright red fresh blood or would I have hemorrhoids bad enough to bleed without any pain?
