A Little Than A Year Ago My Husband Was Diagnosed

A little than a year ago my husband was diagnosed with Diabetes Type 2 and Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome; during frequent doctor’s and emergency room visits since than additional problems joined a long list of problems that he has such as high blood pressure, 10mm kidney stone, 9-10 mm mass in pancreas tail, bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome, retinopathy, and peripheral neuropathy. He does have recurring attacks of intense nausea, and had been vomiting for about a week each time attack occurs. During such episodes he doesn't eat or barely drink anything for days; every time it happened he had to go to emergency room for help; but there is no real relive for his condition - no medications had helped with vomiting so far! The only help that he got is being hydrated with IV. For more than a year he has been struggling with this recurring condition; his blood sugar never been stable with prescribed medications, and his doctors have no other diagnoses except Cyclical Vomiting Syndrome [VCS]. I am very worried that there may be other causes of his condition that doctors are
not seeing. Can mass in pancreas tail cause his vomiting in lieu of VCS? Or could this be some type of pancreatitis or gastritis?
