ACL Reconstruction Surgery Suggested After Accident. Having Instability In Knee. Any Alternative Other Than Surgery?

hi,doctor
i met an accident last year. that made to acl tear in my right knee. still now i never gone any surgery. but the doctors suggestion is acl reconstruction surgery.but still now i have the instability of my knee some times. i am not happy in surgery, so please suggest me.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM

Tear in ligament needs to be corrected surgically, as tear in ligament results in instability to joint, so in future there are possibilities of further injury to joint if not reconstruction done.
Now a days arthroscopic surgeries are available which needs rest for shorter duration and smaller incision and early recovery. so you can discuss with your doctor and get reconstruction done.
