AT My Dental Appt Yesterday To Remove And Replace 1

AT my dental appt yesterday to remove and replace 1 bridge and 1 crown and to replace three fillings. I was in the chair for 2.5 hrs. During the session, a great deal of drilling went on. The dental assistant was manually using the nozzle that sucks out the water and saliva and debris. She was not doing a very good job and I had to stop the work twice because I was choking. I was offered a small glass of water to drink....there was no apparatus to use for rinsing and spitting the debris and water. It felt like I had something in my throat on one side. I was not offered any way to rinse out my mouth and I did drink the water which cleared my throat and the work carried on. At the end of their work, I was not told to rinse my mouth out. I left and went home and I had to use 10 glasses of water to rinse my mouth. After each rinse I spit out what looked like very tiny black objects...later I went to bed and when I awoke this am the same little black seed like debris was all over my pillow. My questions are: when I was given water "to drink" could I have swallowed old lead that may be detrimental to my health? And..... was the procedure they used where there was no way to rinse your mouth and there not being a continuous tool used to clean out debris and water standard procedure? Thank you Dr. Rynne
