Abdominal Pain, Difficulty Breathing, Pain In Shoulder And Neck. Taking Omeprazole. Belching, Gas, Bloating

I'm hurting in my upper right part of my abdomen. It hurts and feels difficult to breath and hurts all the way up to my shoulder blade and neck. I take omeprazole daily and today i have taken tums and a zantac and nothing seems to work. I've had some belching and gas but the pain hasn't seemed to stop. I haven't had much of an appetite and feel extremely bloated and full. What could this be?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Other than acid peptic disease there are various other causes of pain in that area. It could be inflammation of gall bladder, hepatitis, gall stones etc etc. So a physical examination is required to arrive at the exact etiology of your problem. Please consult your doctor for the same.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
