Abdominal Pain, Nausea, Vomiting, Dark Colored Urine, Has Mirena. Cause?

Hi i have the mirena and i have been having severe lower abdominal cramps however yesterday i had nausea and vomiting the abdominal pain has been going on for a few weeks. i also noticed that my urine is very dark now darker than it has ever been as if there is blood in it but I m not on my monthly havent had one of those in about 6 months what could be wrong with me?

Hi,

Thanks for writing in.
As per your symptoms it looks like pelvic inflammatory disease.
Because you are having abdominal pain along with naucea,vomiting and bleeding.
I would suggest you to consult gynecologist and get ultrasound done. It will rule out perforation also.
In presence of infection you will need antibiotics as well.
