Abdominal Pain While Pulling Bin. Coughing When Breathing In Or Out

I was putting the bin out for collection lat night I was pulling the bin up and towards me when I got a very sudden sharp pain right in the middle of my abdomen bottom of my ribs where the end ribs meet in the middle now it hurts to move or straighten up don t know if its coincidence but I want to cough when I breath in or out

Hello, shelley.dee,
If the pain is in the same location when you strain or cough,
try to place your hand over that area and see if you feel any
lump or bulge. You can also lean forward when you try this.
If you are able to feel something , it is possible that you
might have caused a hernia. Especially, if you already had
a small defect in the lining of the abdominal wall, you could
have aggravated it by pulling a heavy object.
If the problem continues, you might want to have a medical
check up by a doctor or a nurse practitioner.
