Acidity, Chest Pain After Drinking Wine. Having Acid Reflux. Advice?

I have had acid reflux for years and have been able to treat it with OTC pills but lately I have noticed them not working as effectively. Sunday night I drank some wine and threw up from the acidity and since then I have had chest pain and haven't been able to eat or drink much of anything. What should I do? (Female, 32 years old, 189 lbs.

Hi,
Your this problem is since long and noe increased, require evaluation.
It is possible that due to improper self medication there might be acute gastritis or even gastric ulcer.
Consult gastro-enterologist and get examined and investigated.
Meanwhile you may take Omiprazole as and when required.
Change you food habit.
Quit alcohol.
Avoid junk food.
Ok and take care.
