Acne On Face, Body, Prescribed Medicine Is For Hormonal Imbalance According To Internet. Advise?

I am a 25 year old single girl. I was prescribed achnechio - OD by my dermatologist for acne on my face and body. Upon reading on the Internet I found out this medicine is associated with pcos. I have never been tested for pcos and don't have any hormonal condition that I know of. Is this medicine safe to consume? Could it interfere with my reproductive system?

hi, PCOS can cause certain changes in your body. like weight gain, unwanted hair and pimples. So on examining you, your dermatologist might have made a diagnosis of PCOS. Secondly you have not mentioned the exact content of the tablet. You have just given the trade name. So right now dont worry too much and have a direct and frank conversation with your doctor. He or she for sure will clarify everything.
