Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hey, I ve had this problem for a few years now but it stopped for about 8-10 months and it happened again the other day. Basically, sometimes when I move my head to the right, it feels as if a bone moves out of a place just to the left of my adams apple. It feels dislocated and it hurts when I try to swallow . It is also visible, when I looked in the mirror it looks as if a bone is slightly poking out of my neck on the left side of my adams apple. I would be very grateful if you replied. Thank you. Granit
I can feel your concern. However, it is not possible to give any specific guidance without a clinical examination. I suggest that you see your doctor who shall examine you and if he suspects any dislocation he may order appropriate investigations like ultrasound or MRI of the neck to confirm it.
I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.
Wishing you all the best.
