Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Microalbuminuria is presence of albumin in urine in the range of 30-300 microgram per decilitre.
Microalbuminuria is detected in cases of diabetic nephropathy.
In other words, presence of microalbuminuria suggests presence of involvement of kidneys by diabetes mellitus.
You need to consult your diabetologist as well as nephrologist for clinical assessment and relevant investigations- renal biopsy.
A renal biopsy is required to know the status of kidney, any damage caused by diabetes mellitus and degree of damage.

Thanks and take care
