Advise On Hiv Dna Pcr Test

Sir, I had taken a test on hiv dna pcr on the 4 th day but i am really confused as to what test should be taken up dna pcr quantitative or qualitative and should i test myself on the 14 th day again would that give me some assurance and which i would again be taking up on the 28 th day but does that mean once dna pcr test taken it would give hiv results for all days before 28 days from the day test is been taken. Please see if you can help me with the answers. Thanks

Most people develop detectable antibodies approximately 30 days after infection, although some seroconvert later.So routine ELISA based antibody tests fail during the window period.NAT (Nucleic Acid Testing) reduces this period to 12 days.visualized.Nucleic-acid-based tests amplify and detect one or more of several target sequences located in specific HIV genes It is highly accurate but expensive.So this test is done after 11-12 days .pcr qualitative is sufficient repeat on 14th day.
