After The Angiogram Noticed Pain & Swelling On The Right Hand Side

HI my husband just had an angiogram done on friday and he has taken the necessary steps the cardiologist told him in recovery e.g no heavy lifting. however this morning he woke up with pain on his lower right hand side. this side has been swollen due to the angiogram procedure done through the groin anyway but it seems to have gotten worse over night. Is this normal? He is worried he might have kidney stones or something else wrong now?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Dear Mrs,

If it is the site that angiogram was performed, I would advise you to see your doctor or refer to ER, to rule out heamatoma.

Hope I could help you

Wishing you good health
