Altered Menstruation. On Birth Control. Worried About Pregnancy
I take birth control. I got my period a week ago and it's lasted longer than usual. Usually it'll only last 3 days but this period has been going on for a week. There will be some days when I go without a pad or tampon because I think it's over but it will randomly come back in a heavy flow. My period has never done this before. Also, I am sexually active but a penis has never came in contact with my vagina, only fingers. HELP.

Abnormal bleeding and spotting could be a result of the birth control.
Other reasons could be anxiety, stress, emotional turbulence, hectic travelling, rapid changes in weight etc.
Hypothyroidism, polycystic ovaries are other factors.
Please consult a gynecologist for detailed evaluation and pelvic ultrasound.
