Am I A Good Case For Stenting If I Have Thinning Of Blood Vessel At One Point In An Artery?
I have been on ROsuvas 10 mcg & Ecosprin for almost 4 years. Recently I went for Angiogram . Doctor prescribed Clopitab 150A and Angiospan 2.5 TR along with Rosuvas 20 & Prolomet 50x. I feel fine with these drugs. He mentioned that there is little thinning of blood vessle at one point in left artery. He also mentioned that it is not an emergency case. Want to know ...am I a good case for Stent?
Hi. I have not clearly understood. Which of your arteries is blocked? and how much is the block? What are your symptoms - Any pain or difficulty in breathing or anything. Please revert back with some more information. Also, your age. Usually, when we do Angiography and we see a lesion or block that requires stenting we do it in the same sitting. The fact that your doctor did not do that would mean either you did not require the stent or the block was not significant enough to be stented. Do let me know the information asked and I can guide you further. Take care. Dr Rishi.
