Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I've just started to workout doing 15 minute intervals of running. but i've noticed that my heart rate exceeds 200 bpm for a majority of that time period. is this bad? I'm concerned if i'm putting too much stress onto my heart.
hello, I have gone through your query. Thanks for using HCM. Basically there is formula of maximum heart which can be attained while exercising i.e. 220-Age=202 in your case,so can safely exericse till that level,However there should be gradual building up of duration of exercise. My best wishes Dr.Rajesh Teli,MD.
