Hi,
Thanks for posting your query
From description it seems to be sciatica nerve pain. It occurs due to irritation or pressure of nerve in it's route. The cause of radiating pain could be due to disc bulge compressing the nerve roots. MRI is required to diagnose the cause. Conservative treatment in form of rest, medicines, physiotherapy is required. If it is due to disc bulge and conservative treatment is infective, surgery (disectomy) is required.
Hope this will helps you. Regards
