Psychiatrist 's  Response
hello shweta

welcome to healthcare magic

your friend has probably "delusional disorder" as per your description.........in this a person gets suspicious of people believing that they are against him/cheating him..........

But you don't get worried because these conditions are treatable ...........the main thing is approaching right diagnosis/treatment at a right time so that he may not hurt himself or others

I advise you to consult a psychiatrist for proper diagnosis and treatment and i am sure he will be alright after treatment

Good Luck

Thanks

Hi and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your question...

I appreciate your concern for your friend. From the brief histroy you have given, it seems poosible that your friend could be suffering from a psychotic disorder. However, to be sure, he needs a detailed psychological assessment. So, please take him to a psychiatrist for an evaluation and further management.

Wish you all the best.
