Any Advice For Hearing Echoes After Taking Pain Medicine?
Due to herniated disc, was taking ibuprofen, then with advil and then with aspirin for pain. My MD did not want to prescribe pain meds. I hear echoing from other people talking and when in stores the noise is very irritating. I ve stopped OTC pain meds for past 6 months. Now on Vicodin, but echos still continue and very annoying and makes me irritable. Any advice? Saw an ENT today and was no help. Thank you.
If your ENT surgeon has no clue about your echoes than probably you need to be evaluated for haalucination. Hallucination are perception without any stimulus and this is the case with you. If you are having more intense symptoms where it should not be (stores) than it is better to seek help as soon as possible.
If you feel otherwise and know that echoes are from known sources and others in vicinity are also convinced with you than it is advised to change your pain medication as they also cause ringing in ears. Regards
