Dear Doctor, I am Gopi from Abu Dhabi, recently i did IVF for my wife embryo tranfer on 3rd dec, yesterday while scanning two sacs are found which are 8.1mm & 5.1mm. One of the radiology told no yolk found. other doctor told it is fine becuase when check last thursday (19 Dec) this sacs are 5.5mm & 3.1mm. I was in so confusion. please advise.
Congratulations to you.Your wife has twin pregnancy. There are two gestational sacs seen during ultrasonography measuring 8.1mm & 5.1mm . Yolk sac is very small structure and it might not be seen during scan. You need follow up scan to see development of embryo. Hope i have answered your query.
Take Care Dr.Indu Bhushan
