Any Diet To Lose Weight?

I have just finished reading the article that Lisa Nelson wrote on the correlation between RBD and weight gain. Two hormones have been identified Leptin and Ghrelin that contribute to weight gain. Does Lisa have a diet that would help me to loose weight. Than you Sandy

hi,
Thank you for writing to Health Care Magic, i understand your query and hope my suggestions help you.
Your knowledge about leptin and ghrelin in correct, and to reduce these you need to be low on your cholesterol levels.
Reducing weight is not an impossible task, it just requires the right diet and appropriate exercises.
First calculate your BMI, by knowing your height and weight and if you weigh more than your ideal weight then start on a diet that is between 1400-1800 kcal.
Reduce your intake of high calorie food, junk and high carbohydrate food.
increase your intake of vegetables, fruits and drink atleast 4-5 lts of water per day.
exercise adequately, running and jogging are the best exercises to lose more calories in less time.
Also get your thyroid profile, lipid profile and hormone tests done and get back to me with results.
Hope this helps, write back if you have more queries.
thank you and take care. wish you good health.
