i have pcos for past 2 years.and put on 18 kg weight during this period and now ma weight is 68 and height is 158cm.i was diane 35 for 6 months last year followed that got normal periods 2 months.after that i got amenorrhea for 3 months followed by dub of 1 month.usg shows 22mm of et following that 1 month amenorrhoea and my dr advised for a EA.and following that am put on diane 35 once again.now whats the permanent solution to get rid of this.is it okay to have ocp .and how to loose my weight.how about using ovashield tablests for the same
You have dysmenorrhea and this will have to be accurately diagnosed to find the exact cause for it. I am suspecting a condition called polycystic ovaries. Which have irregular menstrual cycle and wil require medication like diane to help regularize it. An ultrasound examination can help confirm this.
As for the weight gain and difficulty to lose weight, this is also a symptom of polycystic ovaries.
