Any Side Effect Of Long Distance Running When Having Endometriosis?
I am training for my first marathon and run a very slow steady pace. I also have adenomyosis and endomteriosis. I ran my longest distance ever Saturday (16 miles) and have felt bloated and low energy since. I also gained 4 lbs within a day or 2. I was just finishing my period at the time of the run and am currently feeling uterine/pelvic discomfort, which is not unusual at all for me. It is very tough motivating myself and I am curious about the effect of long distance running on the adenomyosis/endomteriosis? I do try to hydrate well when I run, so do not believe my symptoms to be due to dehydration. Thank you for any feedback
