Any Solution Other Than Surgery For Degenerated Disc Which Is Causing Severe Pain?

I have four discs that are basically degenerated and are causing the vertebrae to be bone on bone. The pain doc has had me on 40 mg methadone a day with 2 to 6 10 mg hydrocodone for break through. The hydrocodone no longer works and so now I am down to just the methadone with 2 of the other in emergency, Surgery in not an option for me with my slender build the neuro surgeon informed me. Is there any better way that you are aware of? Thank you

Degenerated disc is common problem. I has two element. one is back pain and other is leg pain. Are you having back pain more or leg pain more. If back pain more treatment is muscle relaxant such as MYOSPAZ OR MYORIL. Also role of physiotherapy is there. If leg pain is more than treatment is surgery. I never hear before that slender built is contraindication for surgery. So take second opinion from neurosurgeon. Pregabalin and methylcobalamine is helpful for pain relief.
