Any Suggestion For Bulging Eyes In 81 Years Old Who Had Aorta Valve Replacement Last Year?

My husband wil be 81 in Februray, had aorta valve replacement last May. Has not eaten well, but is beginning t eat better-however, my concern is:the last two days his syes seem to be bulging as if he had high thyroid. He had blood work done in december and the doctor did not say anything asbout it. Have you any sugesstions? thank you!!!!!!

It seems from the history that your husband who is 81 years old is having bulging of the eyes. Bulging of the eyes is called as proptosis and the commonest cause for it is thyroid problem.

The other causes for proptosis or any space occupying lesions in the orbit.

Hence he requires further examination and investigations like CT scan to find out the underlying cause and treatment accordingly.
