Any Suggestion For Chest Infection, Getting Blood In Mucus During Cough Even Though Taking Clarithymicin?

I've had a chest infection for 10 days now and am on my second course of clarithymicin - still really congested and have started to get blood in the mucus I cough up - it's bright red so I think it must be fresh blood is this anything to worry about?
