Any Suggestion For Extreme Baby Movements When Gas Pressure Develops In Colon?
I am 34 weeks pregnant and have severe irritable bowel syndrome . When gas pressure develos in my colon and due to spasm i cant pass gas out then i feel extreme kind of baby movements. Its happens inly when gas pressure builds up. Otherwise baby movemeents are fine . I feel like baby will hurt himself inside . Believe me its nonstop jolts and nonstop twisting witg no pause it looks totally abnormal and unsafe for fetus inside. Am i right about fetus .
There is no way your baby can hurt itself, it is well protected by your uterus and the amniotic fluid within. The most likely explanation for these movements is either an increased sensitivity developed by you during an aggravated IBS episode or slight compression of the uterus (harmless) caused due to inflammation of the colon.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
