How Long Does Hrt Femostan Take To Stop Heavy Bleeding?
Age 43, 5 feet 2 and 10 and a half stone. In Perimenapause, taken a weeks worth of second type of hrt femostan 2/10 first did not work, but with tranexemic acid to stem heavy bleeding, but have not effectively stopped having blood clots or spotting so not completely sure if i am having a period or not. How long should I give the hrt to get into my system before going back to the Doctors and how long can i expect to pass blood clots I seem to have had a period for two months and have an upset stomach and flatulence.
In general, it can take a few weeks for HRT to start to take effect and for the body to adjust to the new hormonal balance. It is recommended to give HRT at least three months to see its full effects. Regarding the blood clots, it is not normal to have clots while taking HRT. If you are experiencing any unusual bleeding, you should contact your healthcare provider immediately. Similarly, if you are experiencing an upset stomach and flatulence, this could be related to the HRT.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
