Any Suggestion For Foot Cramps In Middle Of Night In Right Leg And Calf Been Sore And Tender?
I've had some foot cramps in the middle of the night this past week in my right leg and my calf in my right leg has been sore and tender. I've also been slightly out of breath more so than usual. I'm wondering if these could all be symptoms of a blood clot, as I started birth control pills over one month ago or just dehydration and being out of shape. Also, what kind of doctor do I go see about this?
Dear Friend Welcome to Health care magic. I am Dr Charu , I will shortly try to help you with my opinion. Following possibilities are there: 1. Deep Vein Thrombosis 2. Cellulitis 3. Restless leg syndrome. A clinical examination would clear the picture and further investigations and diagnosis would be based on that. So , consult a good physician nearby. Based on the available details, this is my best advice for you. You should discuss with your doctor and share my opinion , I am sure he/she will agree to my opinion. Good Luck.
