Any Suggestion For Having Lump On Base Of Neck?
neice had several seizures and blacked out. we are at hospital now and they found a lump on base of neck where brain stem and spine connect. they are doing a biopsy but wont tell us anything. she has been perfectly healthy 8 year old with no health problems prior to this. please help

I am sure your treating doctor would have the diagnosis told to you based on the whatever scan reports like MRI or CT Scan which ever was done .
But the gold standard test is the biopsy result which is being awaited .
It can be anything from a simple cyst to a complicated tumor .
check your scan reports .The radiologist would have given his opinion .
There is no need to panic now .Let us hope for the best .Have faith in god .
