Any Suggestion For Severe Headache, Muscle Stiffness In Neck And Eye Sore?

Hi, I have been suffering headaches on and off for a couple of years. I have always coped but recently they have become more server. It feels like a pressure headache with muscle stiffness in my neck. My eyes gets ore and I have sharp pain all over my head. It is starting to really effect my and stops me in my tracks!

I can understand your concern. This headache with pressure, neck stiffness and pain in eyes, occurring for years is most probably "tension headache or stress headache"

This type of headache arises due to work stress, eye muscle spasm, physical and mental strain. So to relieve it, you have to treat above factors.

I am providing you few tips to get some relief
; while using laptop or computer, close your eyes for few minutes after every 1 hour
; check your posture and correct your neck bending (flexion) while doing work
; maintain 8 hours sleep routine daily
; you can get head and neck massage to relieve spasm
; avoid mental stress and discuss your problems with your family to solve them
; you can take Diclofenac sodium after proper prescription
: Get your eyes, BP, nasal sinuses checked up to rule out other causes if no relief
; use glasses if you are having refractive error
; maintain hydration and avoid excessive warm or cold environment as all these can give rise to headache
; avoid bright light. You can use sunglasses with UV protection while going out
