Any Suggestion To Control Urine When Suffering From Grade 2 Prostate?

Hi, My father is 80 year old, he is diagnosed with grade 2, prostrate, 47cc size. He had stroke some 8 years back, and currently on medicine for Diabetes, High BP and Cholestrol. Angioplastry was dones 4 year back.

Currently he is not able to hold urine, after ultrasound it seems Prostrate size has increased. Can this be controlled by some medicine, Does Surgery is recommended in this case.

Urologist 's  Response
Hi
Your father needs to evaluated with further tests like uroflowmetry, urine analysis, PSA and possibly urodynamics etc.

Depending on the severity of obstruction caused by prostate, it can be treated by tablets or by surgery. Please see an urologist who will be able to assess him and formulate a personalised plan.
