Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
If i see the patient with same complaints in my clinic, i discuss following three possibilities with them.
1. Hair loss at this age may have androgenic component. The term is
androgenic alopecia. In this the cause of loss of hair is related with the active form of testosterone in our body. The tablet finax you mentioned contains
finasteride. It is a type II 5α-reductase inhibitor; 5α-reductase, an enzyme, converts testosterone to
dihydrotestosterone (DHT). so thereby it reduced this component of the
baldness. side effects are minimal. some patients have may have decreased libido occasionally but no decrease in performance noted.
2.second would be dietary component. Now dietary deficiency is one of the factor. to counteract that we provide nutritional supplements.
3. third is the
minoxidil solution which when applied locally increases the blood supply to the hair follicles and causes visible increase in the density of hairs in 16 weeks.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
