Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello, Andy.
With such presentations in my clinic, I would first rule out serious conditions by asking if there is any history of cardiovascular disease like hypertension, family history of patient, weight, and history of smoking etc. In the presence of any of these histories accompanied by chest pain that radiates to the jaw, I would recommend the patient to do ECG, lipid profile, and stress tests, before suggesting any medication. I will advise you speak to your physician about this. Best regards
