Are Contraceptive Pills Exposed To Higher Temperatures Safe?

Hello...If I left my contraceptive pills in the car for two weeks at at temperatures of 118f will they be damaged ?? poisoned or something ?? I spent $100 on them and I am on a really tight budget now, can t afford to buy more at this moment but need to be taking them....do you think its safe to still take them ?

Contraceptive pills are hormone preparations, and can be destroyed at such high temperatures. Although may not be toxic, the efficacy might have lost. We have to replace them to ensure protection, or use alternative methods like condom for the time being.
