Are Dizzy Spells And Hot Flashes Due To Pregnancy?

Hi,
I am 11.5 weeks pregnant. i am 29, have one son (Oct 2011) and one miscarriage (March 2013), 144 lbs, 5'6". I had deep sharp cramps across the front and sides of my lower stomach, with dizzy spells and hot flashes. It lasted for 45 minutes. The hot flashes and dizzy spells went away but the sharp cramps remained for 30 more minutes. One hour later the severe pain associated with the cramps has gone but there remains a dull cramping.

What could this be?
