Are Elevated Cholesterol And ESR Levels A Cause For Concern?
Hi. I had hip pain and went to the doctor. He ordered blood test and mri. My blood test was good except for my high chelostrol (273) and elevated ESR (26). Also , my mri showed t9 hemangioma. I'm 34 and a breast cancer survivor. Can these be a matter of concern?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
ESR is elevated a bit and it is mostly due to your hip problem and haemangioma . I will suggest X-ray of hip joint to see for any hip joint disease .it is not a cause of worry. As ESR is not much high.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
With Regards,
Dr Varinder Joshi
