Are Gastroenteritis, Colitis, Bladder Infections Signs Of Break Down Due To Cervical Cancer ?
my friend was in the hospital last week for gastrointeritis and colitis and now back this week with a bad bladder infection and urine is orange. She has cervical cancer advanced stage 4 are these signs of her body breaking down, It has spread to her upper back and she is very ill, has lost a lot of weight and do not eat. Pain is 10 and only dilaudid at 1mg prn works
As her urine is orange i would advise her to do routine urine test and urine culture sensitivity test.
If any infection is found in the urine report then it has to be treated with sensitive antibiotics.
If blood is found in urine then CT scan of lower abdomen has to be done.
She also has to take tranexamic acid tablet 500 mg twice daily after food for 3 days to stop her bleeding.
As she is having history of gastroenteritis i would advise her to take proton pump inhibitor group of drugs before breakfast once daily with her doctors advise.
Warm Regards
