In most of the instances, an ear drum perforation does not reveal loss of memory or concentration. It may be possible to have associated brain condition (not diagnosed till now) responsible for vivid symptoms with ear drum issue. Kindly consult an expert neurologist for the final diagnosis and further evaluation as CT or MRI brain for best management guidelines.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
