Are Headaches After An Injury A Symptom Of A Concussion?

My 85 year old husband fell Friday night, hit his forehead on the brick floor of the porch, scraped it, no outward pump knot, has a black eye forming from the upper lid circling to under the eye. He refused the ambulance attendees wanting to take him to the hospital, was really stove up all over yesterday, a little better today, but keeps having headaches. His pupils are not dilated but I am wondering if he could possibly have a concussion. He is not nauseous.

Hi,

Possibility of concussion injury or subdural hematoma can't be ruled out.

Better to consult in ER and get a CT head.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
