Are Heart Flutters And Panic Attacks Normal With Cerebral Aneurysm?
Hello, I was diagnoed with a cerebral aneurysm with a complex anatomy 4 months ago and the neurosurgeon has told me endovascular surgery is out of the question and basically that any other interventional treatment has a high risk of either death or suffering an SAH during surgery. Although I feel I have accepted the prognosis I have recently started suffering from heart flutters and panic attacks is this a normal symptom caused by the aneurysm.

May be subconsciously you are thinking about aneurysm and emotional factors are causing these heart flutters and panic attacks( in my view). To r/o pathology in heart you need to consult a qualified cardiologist who will examine you physically and do ECG,ECHO if required.these symptoms are not related to cerebral aneurysm. In case you develop severe headache, nausea, vision impairment, vomiting, and loss of consciousness you need to consult ER immediately.you need to maintain your BP in optimal range to prevent complications.balanced low salt diet, low oil diet and meditation will help in this.habits like smoking and taking alcohol if any are there you have to stop them completely and be mentally positive and strong.
