Are High Fever, Diarrhea And Dizziness In Children Signs Of Meningitis?

My 11 yr son spiked a high fever 104.8 while we were at hospital, he gets light headed, diarrhea, today bloody stools, today is day 5 this has been going on. He doesn t seem to be getting better. We went to Dr today she didn t seem concern but wants to do blood work tomorrow. He has been around a person who has had meningitis

At the beginning please be clear that meningitis is not a infective disease.
More over tha high grade fever can be aviral or a bacterial because of the intestinal infection particularly.
Yes the treating doctor is very right in doing a blood test to rule out other possibilities.
be calm have patience and please take care of the diet with full diet rich in fluids.
Continue the advised drugs after the tests.
