Are Hot Flashes Post Food Intake Suggestive Of Fluctuating Sugar Levels?

Is there a quick way to test blood sugar levels at home? I have been having really extreme hot flashes and sometimes they come right after eating. I am in menopause as well so that could be the problem but it seems like food triggers them and I am very healthy eater. I have cut out sugar etc.
