Are Impaired Thoughts, Insomnia And Stuttering Speech Neurological Issues?
My friend started to stutter really bad about 3 weeks ago and keeps asking what s that smell? She can t sleep now has been falling and has turned childlike and mildly flirtatious. Never acted this way before. I know it s neurological but any ideas to what? We live in small town our hospital just sends her away with no answers. Thank you
I understand your concern. You are right in assuming that her change in behavior may be due to neurological damage. It may be a brain mass that needs investigating through a physical examination and a scan or MRI. However there may be other reasons not related to the brain. You have to first rule out intoxication. Maybe she is taking something you are not aware of. In any case, I recommend you take her to a doctor and discuss with them the behavioral changes you have noticed in your friend. I am sure the doctor will take your concern seriously.
I hope this helps All the best
