Are Irregular Periods And Abdominal Pain The Symptoms Of Ovarian Cyst?
Hi, I m 18 and I ve been having irregular periods and pain in the abdomin when aroused as well as before and after a period and I also have to pee all the time and have trouble passing stool. Do I have an ovarian cyst? Should I see a doctor? Because I ve told my mom and she said it was nothing but I ve heard ovarian cysts could be cancerous and/or cause infertility. I would hate for that to happen just because my mom wouldn t believe me you know? So what should I say to get her to believe me? Or should I just have my dad take me to a walk in clinic, would that be too expensive because my mom has the insurance? I have no idea what to do and I m concerned.

Thanks for coming to Health Care Magic. Since when did you started having menstruation? Are you sexually active ? Your symptoms might be simple gastric/urine infection. However, discuss your concerns with your physician next time you visit the clinic. Please have healthy, hygienic life style, with plenty of water, healthy diet & exercise routine. If you are sexually active, please ensure to get guidance on protecting your self from infections. Every symptom is not necessarily a cancer. Wish you good luck.
