Are Most Staph Infections Or Shingles Are Puss Filled?
I went to the doctor at the beginning of the week because I had a few bumps appear under my eye below my lashes. Technically it is on my face skin. The bumps had little black dots in the center of each and when the doctor looked at it initially she had said shingles but then she had said that I possibly had transferred my cold sore to my face and gave me a prescription for Valtrex 3 times a day and it seemed to help with the pain in my face and under my jaw line where I had swollen glands. I then went to see an optometrist yesterday and he had said that it was a staph infection. The rash has not spread and where the bumps were now are completely scabbed over and there is no fluid coming out. I guess I am confused as to what to believe. I am on the Valtrex and the Cephalexin currently. The issue now from the research that I have done is that most staph infections or shingles are puss filled is this a correct assumption?
