Hello and welcome to HCM, The test report that you have posted is that of urine and not blood. The leukocytes esterase test is positive. Besides the urine is cloudy and there is presence of blood in urine. Cloudy urine is due to infection or presence of amorphous urates. Cloudy urine and positive leukocyte esterase test suggests presence of bacterial infection i urine. You have mentioned that there is prior history of E coli infection, thus, urine culture may be done this time also to isolate the organism causing the infection. Drug sensitivity test may also be done after culture studies which will select the most appropriate antibiotic effective against the infective bacteria. All these tests are required since there is previous history of urinary tract infection and you were hospitalized. Hospital acquired infections are usually resistant to usual treatment thus culture and drug sensitivity are required. Consult your primary health provider for further work up.
